MAC PRO CONCEAL AND CORRECT PALETTE $40.00
A professional palette of four concealers and two corrector shades in a medium-deep colour wave. Enriched with antioxidants and suited for all skin types, they can be used individually or combined to match any skin tone. Emollient-based formula delivers medium to full buildable coverage in a natural finish. Helps to correct skin tone and conceal dark circles, blemishes, moles, tattoos and birthmarks.
Its a sleek and simple compact with a clear top cover and a magnetic closure. This is the same size as the normal eyeshadow quads. There’s no mirror provided and that’s not an issue for me at all.
- Rich Yellow
- Burnt Coral.
The colours are compiled to counteract dark circles under the eyes or pigmentation, as well as to highlight and conceal. Also you can custom blend your own mix, depending on the areas you want to work on.
Originally, these were released through MAC PRO only with the professional makeup artist’s need in mind, but they’re great to have for personal use as well.
I use this palette for almost everything on my face after applying foundation. I use it to clean my brows, sometimes as primer for my eyelid, to cover dark spots and high pigmentation, colour correct, highlight under my eye, and the list goes on. It does so much and you get a good size of product in this palette to last you a long time..
Nice texture and pigmentation. Its thick and has super creamy consistency. Easily blendable and the coverage is medium and buildable to a full coverage. They give you medium to full coverage without looking cakey on your skin. The feel is not lightweight, but doesn’t feel heavy either. For something this creamy, its best to quickly set with a powder. Also since there are a variety of colours in each palette, it makes it easy to find you right match, either by using them individually or by combining them to create the perfect colour.
The compact is lightweight and travel-friendly, you can slip it into your handbag without worrying about the palette creating a mess in your bag.
Aside from the corrector shade, am not sure I like the concealer as under eye highlight. Because it takes too long to set and it doesn’t do the job of brightening my under eye area the way I like.. (If you are going to use this as an under eye highlight, you need to quickly set it with a powder so it doesn’t crease)
Its pricey but not that pricey since you are getting 4 different shades of conceal and 2 corrector shades and they last really well. Its definitely a must have for makeup artist.
