TheBodyShop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner, 4500Naira.

INGREDIENTS;

Water, Alcohol Denat., Corn Starch Modified, Caprylyl Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glycerin, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Allantoin, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Limonene, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, t-Butyl Alcohol, Citral, Leptospermum Petersonii (Lemon Tea Tree) Oil, Denatonium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Caramel, Yellow 5, Blue 1.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION;

A refreshing toner with tea tree oil that removes traces of makeup, and impurities. The ‘shake to activate’ mattifying powder in the formulation helps to give the skin a matte, shine-free finish. It effectively tones the skin, and helps to prevent acne with regular, everyday use.

HOW TO USE;

Shake to activate. Saturate a cotton wool pad and sweep across a cleansed face and neck. I use after cleansing just once a day (in the morning) or twice when I notice any acne trying to pop out.

VERDICT:

This toner does all it claims. It has really helped put the oil on my face under control this season. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and help reduce the size of my pores around my nose. It also picks up any last traces of makeup left on my skin. It keeps the skin mattified for hours, help combat existing blemishes and prevent future breakouts.

I also use it as spot treatment for acne. Just take 1-2 drops on a cotton ball, and place it on the eruption. This helps the acne to heal quickly. Upon application, I feel a mild tingling sensation, which stays only for a few minutes. So if you have sensitive skin, this might be too harsh for you. You need to use a moisturiser with this toner after each application (even if you have oily skin).

Lastly, both products are scented, but goes away after a few minutes upon application. I like both product and would recommend to anyone with oily skin but please use with caution, because (the Toner) can be over drying if you are not careful.
