INGREDIENT;

– Rosehip Seed Oil
– Pumpkin Seed Oil
– 24k Gold
– Vitamin E
– Lemongrass Oil
– Orange Peel Oil

CLAIMS;

The rose gold elixir is a lightweight oil with citrus, awakening type of scent which makes it perfect to use on a morning to help get the day started. It contains 24K gold,which has several benefits on the skin. Like to slow collagen depletion and breakdown of elastin to prevent sagging skin. Stimulates cellular growth to regenerate healthy, firm skin cells and provides a visible tightening effect.

USED AS;

  • A daily Moisturizer – This beauty oil is a effective lightweight moisturizer with added anti-aging benefits. It absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving skin feeling greasy. I enjoy using it at night because I have oily skin and I love how my skin glow the next morning.
  • Under eye serum/moisturizer – Its gentle enough to moisturize under the eyes. It doesn’t irritate my eye area.
  • Radiating Hydrating Primer – It can be used as a hydrating primer if you have dry skin, before applying makeup, for smooth makeup application.
  • Mixed With Foundation – Use 2-3 drops to mix with your favourite foundation if you have dry skin, to keep your skin hydrated and glowing.

MY VERDICT;

I love beauty oil. They add natural radiance to your skin. Farsali Rose Gold Elixir Oil is a nice oil for all skin type. Mostly dry skin.  Have had this oil for a while now and I like it. It’s a great night moisturizer for my oily skin.. Absorbs immediately into my skin without looking greesy. It hydrates my skin and gives a nice glow till the next morning. It doesn’t break me out which is great.. I only use it at night as a moisturizer after serum,because I have oily skin and it won’t be funny to add oily to my skin, when I naturally get oily during the day.

Aside from it being a great moisturizer to give my skin natural and youthful glow, have not seen any other thing it claims. Which am ok with since that’s what I need it for. I haven’t noticed any visible tightening effect whatsoever or firmness (may be with continues use it will become visible).

Am only reviewing this product because everyone seems to be carried away with the hype on instagram including myself. lol. The hype on instagram made me buy this oil and the gold in it( I love gold), but the good thing was I got it to be used as a night moisturizer, so I definitely don’t regret buying it.. Like most beauty gurus on instagram, I tried to mix it with my foundation and sweetie, it was a total mess. I also tried it with beauty blender and my foundation was sliding to hell.. lol. If you have oily skin, don’t try mixing this oil with foundation in anyway please..

CONCLUSION:

I like Farsali Rose Gold Elixir Oil and might repurchase. “might” because it really expensive, especially if you are ordering from Nigeria and exchange rate is not helping.. If you have dry skin and you are looking for a good day and night moisturizer, I will totally recommend this oil to you.. If you have oily or combination skin this will also work as a night time moisturizer, to add radiance to the skin. Just have in mind that it’s not something to be crazy about..

  2. Thanks for your honest review. Everyone looked so fancy mixing this with their foundations but I also have oily skin, so won’t work for me either. Thank you!!

  3. Thanks a lot for this review. There was so much hype around it that I got tempted to buy it. But now that it costs $53 and the naira keeps falling, nah mate! It does look nice when mixed with foundation but then I’ve seen some gurus apply powder on top and that just defeats the entire “glow purpose”. Clearly pple that bought into the hype too.
