REVIEW – LAURA MERCIER TRANSLUCENT LOOSE SETTING POWDER.

HELLO EVERYONE!!

22

It’s about Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder today. Early last year or so, I got the Laura Mercier Pressed Setting Powder which broke the very day I received it. I was still able to use the little left and it was all love. Then I ordered the Translucent Loose Setting powder but received the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I didn’t even know. It just wasn’t working for me, I was just wondering what went wrong because the pressed was doing me good. Anyway I sold it.. I just got the Translucent Loose Setting Powder and here is my review..

DESCRIPTION;

With multiple major awards and counting, Laura Mercier’s “best in beauty”, cult-favorite bestseller is your go-to setting powder. Loose powder feels luxuriously dense in the jar, feels incredibly soft and silky-light on your skin. Pros love the super smooth application: goes on evenly, blends effortlessly, provides great wear. Sets makeup without adding weight or texture.

Creates a modern matte finish with a touch of sheer coverage. The translucent shade works on virtually all skin tones.

It has a soft-focus effect that subtly blurs the look of fine lines and imperfections. Doesn’t settle into fine lines or pores and never looks cakey.

26The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is VERY soft and smooth. It is finely milled, very lightweight with a silky texture. It is truly translucent even on dark skin and doesn’t leave any white cast. It simply disappears into the skin and doesn’t alter the color of your concealer or foundation. This powder blurs my pores really well and doesn’t settle into my fine lines under my eye area. It doesn’t look cakey or feel chalky at all and it blends like a dream on the skin..

A little goes a long way with this powder. Seriously, using too much and baking ALL DAY will only make your face look like dried fish. lol. I lightly press it on the areas on my face that I highlighted with a damp beauty blender or a small tapered face brush, let it sit for 2 to 3 mins then dust it off.  Baking for too long with this product is seriously a NO NO, except if you have super oily skin..

What I love most about this powder, is the way it controls oil. It instantly gets rid of shine and mattifies the area of my face I used it to set. Once I set my concealer with this powder, it doesn’t crease and stays put all day.

I totally love it and would recommend it to all except people with dry skin. If you have dry skin, you have to be careful when using this, or you can get MAYBELLINE MASTER FIX SETTING + PERFECTING LOOSE POWDER.. It is also a favourite of mine,but more suitable for dry skin.

NOTE; When you want to order this powder,make sure it is the Translucent not the Invisible Loose Setting Powder. The Translucent is beige in colour and the Invisible is white. They are different.

Am sure most of you have this powder, let me know your thoughts.

Have a blessed week guys.
