So the last Liquid peel I tried was O.R.G SKINCARE MINERAL PEEL BODY, which I did love. And since then I have been obsessed with peels. When I saw Ceceblooom use The Body Shop Drops of Youth Liquid Peel on Instagram, I was curious to try it out myself.

Peels are designed to remove dead skin cells and dry patches on the skin. They are similar to physical exfoliators, but it all depends on what you prefer. Some prefer a peel  and some prefer physical exfoliator. I actually like both but I like Peels more. Peels rather than physical exfoliators are gentler on skin and you will see results instantly, so they are a good option if you have sensitive skin and don’t get on too well with gritty exfoliators. I will be talking about The Body Shop Drops of Youth Liquid Peel.

The NEW Drops of Youth™ Youth Liquid Peel exfoliates and gently peels off impurities from your skin, lifting dead skin cells and residuals. This revolutionary gel-to-peel leaves skin clean and purified from the day’s…

2-3 times per week for best results. Dispense 2 pumps onto fingertips and massage onto face for up to 20 seconds until exfoliating ‘residues’ appear noticeably and are peeled off. Rinse thoroughly with water.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Liquid Peel has a gel-like formula, I apply it on my face and gently massage it for like a minute and it visibly starts to get rid of the dirt, dry patches and dead skin cells. Once am done using my hand, I use a Konjac sponge like am cleansing my skin, and then rinse off. (You want to be gentle when using a sponge).

Once am done, my skin instantly feels super soft, smooth and squeaky clean. Any product I apply on my face after use, sink in and works effectively. The next morning my face still feels the same way and brighter. The way it noticeably removes the dead skin cells and dry patches on my skin just gives me a satisfying feeling. I love it.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Liquid Peel is super gentle on the skin, It doesn’t irritate my skin at all, nor sting or burn.

I’ve been using it 1-2 times a week for the past two weeks, and the difference after each use is very impressive.. The texture and the way my skin looks seems to continuously improve with each use thanks to the peel. My dark spots are visibly fading away and my skin feels great. Each use feels like I just finish an intense Spa treatment.

Overall, I love it. If you’re looking for a gentle and effective peel that provides an extra level of exfoliation and deep cleansing, The Body Shop Drops of Youth Liquid Peel is worth trying out.
