Am here with another foundation review, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation. It has been on my wishlist for too long, but getting the right shade was the cause of the delay. Luckily a friend( we wear the same shade) got it for me and am in love. Let’s get into it.
Darlings, I worked with laboratories for five years to create my ‘miracle in a bottle’ Magic Foundation. Featuring a weightless, ‘hyper-intelligent’ formula super-charged with vitamin C, Genius Hyaluronic Filling Spheres and mushroom extract, for full coverage that glides on like a dream, concealing imperfections and transforming skin of all ages, tones and types. With all the anti-ageing and protective benefits of a luxury skin cream, you’ll enjoy flawless, air-brushed, perfect-looking skin every day!
The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation comes in a 30ml frosted glass bottle with a plastic white pump and rose gold cap. The packaging is pretty and looks luxurious. But am not sure I like the white pump it came with. It gets dirty through use.
It comes in fifteen different shades, only three shades for dark skin beauties. You can do better CharlotteTilbury, you can. Anyway I got the shade “10 Dark” and it’s matches perfectly.
The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation is medium coverage, but buildable to full coverage. The texture is quite thick, but feels completely weightless on the skin. The coverage is great, easily buildable, blends beautifully and doesn’t cake at all.
Once blended this foundation sets to the skin quickly, but gives enough time to blend properly before it set. It doesn’t settle in fine lines and does a pretty decent job at blurring pores. It gives a beautiful velvet-matte skin like finish that is flawless yet very natural looking.. I love the finish it just beautiful.
The lasting power is reasonable. Let say like 5-6hours before touch-up. It doesn’t separate or go patchy on me and doesn’t transfer at all. I love it. And I need to add that it has SPF 15 and some anti-ageing/protective benefits (Hyaluronic and vitamin C).
Overall, I am really impressed with this foundation except for the shade range, it’s a favorite and my most used lately.
Have you tried it? Let me know your thoughts?
