Towards the ending of 2017, I got the Zaron Healthy Glow Foundation to try and review for you guys. I didn’t review it up until now cause the shade I got was slightly darker than my complexion and honestly, it’s not really fun for me reviewing a foundation when I am not satisfied with shade I got. Anyway, I got a shade lighter, so I can finally review now..
This ultra matte foundation blends in smoothly and guarantees a beautiful matte finish. You are sure of an even skin tone and even more with SPF30 that protects your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Best used over the Zaron Face Primer; and the Zaron Mattifying Powder and or Loose Powder to set and achieve flawless all day glow.
The Zaron Healthy Glow foundation comes in a black matte tube packaging. I like the packaging. It’s just to press the foundation directly on my skin and blends. I got two shades, FZ20 (too light) and FZ25 (slightly darker) so I mix both with more of FZ25 to get my perfect match.
The Zaron Healthy Glow foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation. On me, it full coverage. It covers up my spots, blemishes and discolouration nicely, leaving a very flawless and glowy finish. It is buildable, blurs my pores and doesn’t settle in fine lines.
It has a thick consistency, once blended out, it doesn’t feel heavy or look cakey. This foundation sets almost immediately, So you have to work really fast, else it becomes difficult to blend.. what I do is apply on one side blend before applying on the other side of my face. That way it blends beautifully into the skin.
This foundation is fragranced. It smells nice and the scent is gone by the time am done blending it out.. It also has SPF 30 which is great for sun protection.
The Zaron Healthy Glow foundation last between 4hours before the oil starts to shine through. It doesn’t last long but it doesn’t move around and it stays looking fresh all through the day.
This foundation does oxides a little. FZ25 would have been a perfect match but it turns dark after it settles. So I mix FZ20 and FZ25, which looks like its lighter than my complexion at first but after it settles, it matches perfectly.
In conclusion, I love the finish of the foundation. It so fresh and glowy. Although it doesn’t last that long on me, it stays put and still looks fresh at the end of the day. I totally recommend it if you have normal/dry skin, combination skin with a good mattifying primer and setting powder.
