I shall be talking about the newly release Zaron Liquid Concealer. I got it over a week ago and I have been testing testing. Here is my take on it;
The first thing I want to talk about is the wand of this concealer. The wand is a brush like applicator. Totally different from all the concealer wands I have tried. And honestly I am not sure I like it. I have to dip like three times under each eye before I can get the quantity I need.
The Zaron Liquid Concealer is a light to medium coverage concealer. It feels very creamy and smooth on the skin. It blends seamlessly into the skin, feels weightless and doesn’t look cakey at all.
This Concealer is buildable and I prefer to use a small dense brush to blend it than a beauty blender. I notice that beauty blender soaks up too much off the concealer and gives me a very light coverage. But with a brush, I get a medium coverage from this concealer..
The finish of this concealer isn’t completely matte and not luminous either. A soft matte finish is the best way to describe it. It doesn’t set immediately, so you have enough to work with it before it sets. It doesn’t crease under the eyes once blended out and doesn’t settle into fine lines. Once it is set with powder, it stays put and last long.
It comes in three different shades Light, Medium and Deep. I got all three. Light is way too light, Medium is too yellow, Deep has that golden with yellow undertone but once blended out, it doesn’t look too yellow. I use Deep with one dip of Light to highlight my under eye. I can’t say how well it conceals spot cause I don’t have my exact shade for that.
Although I am a full coverage concealer kind off girl, but I do like the Zaron Liquid Concealer for soft glam looks. I hope they come out with more shades because I am not impressed with the shade range at all. And please they need to change the applicator.
