A Review of Sacha Buttercup setting powder…Before I started using Sacha Buttercup setting powder, have been using Bennye Banana powder which I like. But the issue i have with the Bennye powder is the white patches it leaves behind on my skin after dusting it out.I always need to use my Mac Nw43 powder to calm it down then am good.. The rave about this Sacha buttercup setting powder by women of colour got my attention and i knew i had to try it….
The Sacha buttercup setting powder is much smoother in texture than the Bennye Banana powder,it desolves into your skin and doesn’t cake.It blends seamlessly no matter how much you apply on your face.. It doesn’t cling or accentuate any lines around the eye area and sets the highlight under you eyes perfectly.. If you are like me that uses powder of my skin tone to calm the harshness of the bennye powder and if your a medium to dark skin tone, you should check out this powder. Its the best setting powder for women of colour yet..Might be too yellow on fairer skin tone…
Compared to the Bennye powder, Sacha buttercup powder doesn’t blot oil as much as the bennye powder does, meaning it absorbs oil but not as well as the bennye powder does. If you have dry or combination skin, this is not an issue, but if you have oily skin,I think you should get the sacha pressed powder to always carry along when your out.. Aside this, its a great setting powder and I haven’t used my bennye setting powder since I started using it… Sacha buttercup setting powder and Bennye banana setting powder side by side..
